These often-overlooked disciplines are essential to achieving ultra-low leakage, extended service life, and consistent valve performance.
Our multidisciplinary team brings together nuclear-grade sealing engineers, valve specialists, materials scientists, and electromechanical engineers, combining rigorous academic research with deep industrial experience. We have conducted extensive joint research with leading institutions, including Lanzhou University of Technology’s National Key Laboratory of Friction and Wear, Ningbo Institute of Materials, East China University of Science and Technology, and the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics. Through these collaborations, we have performed systematic studies on low-leakage graphite sealing technologies and identified—and resolved—the root causes of sealing failure.
Supported by comprehensive in-house testing and authoritative third-party validation, Magpie Valve holds multiple internationally recognized certifications, including API 622, API 624, API 641, ISO 15848-1, TA-LUFT, and ISO 15848-1 CC3. To date, nearly 500 valve products—including gate, globe, and ball valves—have been tested under extreme conditions, with temperatures ranging from –196°C to 400°C and pressures up to Class 2500 LB.
